Stewart Reed showed his latest
project car at the 2001 North American
International Auto Show.
The "C 7" sports car is a new design created for Cunningham
Motors. It was introduced at the North American International
Auto Show on January 8, 2001, the C 7 is a sleek blend of modern
features and the classic stylings of Cunningham's earlier grand
touring cars and racing vehicles.

Featuring a nearly 7 liter, V
- 12 engine, the C 7 is capable of speeds over 200 mph. Stewart
describes the C 7 as "a sculpture on wheels"; the first
pictures of the car below give an excellent indication of what
he means by that.
The C 7 retains numerous elements
of previous Cunningham designs such as its classic wide-mouth
grille, the graceful curves of the front fenders and the round
headlights. New elements of the design includes the car's front
mid-engine placement for improved weight distribution and performance,
its 22 inch steering wheel, and the cockpit-like interior with
its four bucket seats. The C 7 also features 360 degree collision
sensors.

The C 7 could become Cunningham
Motors' re-entry into the production vehicle market within the
next three years.
